PAN GYO HOUSING DEVELOPMENT UNDERWAY

The International Housing Competition won by Mack Architect(s) in 2006 for the Korean National Housing Corporation is slowly coming out of the ground under the watchful eye of Dongwoo Architects. The development utilizes a mixture of low-rise courtyard housing and four story apartment blocks along with public green roofs, parks & recreation areas, as well as connections to hiking paths and the forest beyond. Completion date is set for early 2010 just in time to take advantage of the new housing boom developing in the areas around Seoul and all of South Korea.

Dongwoo Architects' design director Jaewoo Lee and Mark Mack visited the site while designing a new housing project in Seoul.
