MACK Architect(s) was asked to develop a conceptual design for a new restaurant/cafe/culinary school in the Old Market District of Omaha. The concept for the space was a full service restaurant and cafe/deli that would provide a venue for students of the Institute for the Culinary Arts of Omaha to hone their skills and work in a active, real-life restaurant environment. It would also provide culinary classes to residents in the area as well as provide take-out food in the form of a "to go deli".
CLIENT: Jun Kaneko & Ree Schonlau and Institute for the Culinary Arts, Omaha
